LendLease engaged Berry Systems to complete the vehicle restraint systems for their project at Dingwall Road, Croydon.
For this site, we installed our widely used system, featuring our patented BS EN 6180 Restraint Strap, designed to minimize handrail deflection under pedestrian load.
The Ruskin Square car park on Dingwall Road was recently modernized to meet increasing parking demands.
Located near notable attractions like the Whitgift Shopping Centre and BoxPark Croydon, the facility, which offers 565 parking bays, required robust security and compliance to ensure user safety.
Berry Systems supplied and installed RB1X posts, handrails, mesh, and BS EN 6180 compliant restraint straps. We also incorporated Orsogril infill panels for split-level areas.
The restraint strap, specifically engineered to limit deflection under pedestrian load, reinforced the handrail, enhancing the overall safety and effectiveness of the vehicle restraint system.
Throughout the project, we ensured that all products met the client’s specific requirements, providing a comprehensive and compliant solution to safeguard all users of the car park.
