East Marketgait Car Park, Dundee
The 500-space multi storey car park serves the leisure centre and Berry designed and installed the vehicle safety barriers found inside. The chosen system was the innovative Brisafe wire rope barrier which leaves no footprint, maximising parking space.
The flexible system protects both vehicles and the barrier itself by minimising impact, while maintaining sufficient resistance.
Areas without significant structural columns were protected by Berry Beam barriers which were floor mounted on RB1X spring steel buffers.
