Amazon Warehouse Car Park

Amazon recently expanded their Neasden warehouse with a new multi-storey car park to meet the growing need for staff parking and improve delivery efficiency.

This expansion includes a van parking deck that allows lorries to park and be loaded within the same structure, enhancing logistics operations. Additionally, the facility features electric charging points for vans and lorries, supporting Amazon’s sustainability goals and reducing their carbon footprint.

Berry Systems designed and installed the new van parking deck, using a variety of products to address the project’s safety, weather, and aesthetic needs.

Given the car park’s proximity to Wembley Stadium, the architect wanted to feature imagery of children playing football to complement the surrounding area and echo the iconic venue.

Berry Systems was involved early in the design phase to ensure the products met these specific requirements.

To ensure quality and precision, full-sized samples were produced and approved before manufacturing began.

The project required compliance with strict safety and weather regulations, and Berry Systems recommended optimal products that balanced aesthetics, safety, and performance.

Nearly 5,000 sqm of cladding was delivered in just six weeks to keep the project on schedule.

Custom graphic imagery panels were created with bespoke patterns, and hook-on cassettes with the Atlas carrier system facilitated efficient installation.

The products specified included Ash and Lacy Vision Webb expanded mesh, standard perforated panels with a 3mm gauge aluminum, bespoke imagery perforated panels with a 3mm gauge aluminum, and Firth Steels N1000C trapezoidal sheeting for stair cores.
